Irene Robinson drawings, 1931-1964.

The collection includes illustrations by Southern Calif. artist, Irene B. Robinson, for 16 children's books written by her husband, W.W. Robinson, and a number of sketches for potential new books and miscellaneous artwork. The collection contains charcoal, pastel and pencil drawings, oil paintings, and watercolors, as well as textual material.

Biography / Administrative History Irene Margaret Bowen Robinson (1891 - 1973) was born in Washington state, but she grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Pasadena, California.
